How should I store my nut butter?

Please store in a cool dark place at ambient temperature, like your pantry or cupboard. Our products do not need refrigeration as that will make them go hard.

Why is there oil on top of my nut butter?

Oil separation occurs naturally as we do not use emulsifiers. That is why we have directions to ‘stir before you spread’ on the lid. These are the ‘good oils’ that rise to the top naturally and once mixed back in your nut butter will be fine to use.

I have seen some white stuff on top of my Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter.

We say on the jar, natural separation of cocoa butter and peanut oil will occur. In extreme temperature change this separation can be more noticeable.
This can occur on rare occasions and particularly in cold temperatures.
This is completely food safe so simply mix back in and it’s ready to eat.

Does Nut Brothers ship internationally?

At this point in time we do not ship overseas.

When will I receive my order?

You should receive your order within 3 working days North Island or 4 working days for the South Island.

Where do you produce Nut Brothers?

We roast and mill our nuts in small batches in Auckland. Some manufacturers use nuts pre roasted overseas which we believe is nowhere as fresh as what we do nor taste anywhere as good.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Our glass jars and metal caps are recyclable. Our pouches are soft plastic and can be recycled into fence posts trough the soft plastic recycling scheme. We product in small artisan batches and use fresh raw materials. These can from time to time have seasonal variation slight differences from various growing regions. We are continually refreshing our stocks. We welcome your feedback and if you feel something is not up to our usual quality or not what you were expecting, simply pop us an email detailing your concerns and we will respond within 24 hours with a solution. What are hi oleic peanuts?

Hi Oleic Peanuts, are peanuts that contain a higher amount of oleic acid compared to standard peanuts. Oleic Acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid – it is known as a good fat, reducing the amount of LDL (bad cholesterol) whilst boosting the levels of HDL (good cholesterol).
